Effective design control of stormwater management systems in urban areas

The goal of the project is to develop a software tool supporting the design of sustainable urban drainage systems (SuDS) and control of the design by public administration. The tool will enable selection of a suitable SuDS method and appropriate structures following the priorities given by SuDS principles and legislation of the Czech Republic as well as the sizing of the structures. The output will be a standardized protocol displaying a checklist of the selection of the SuDS method and structures, the input data used and sizing outputs. The tool will thus enable objective control of the entire process and will lead to easier, faster and more efficient performance of public administration and reduction of its administrative burden.
